Fireball over North East Pennsylvania moves across Lake Erie towards Canada

11pm EST North East Township USA.

Walked out to put out garbage, looked up in the sky and saw giagantic fireball materialize just south of Lake Erie. It came out of nowhere, literally. It was obviously propelled, moved in a straight lateral line, and was not sitting there or hanging stationary like a flare. It was moving Northeasterly and glowing a bright brilliant red (i.e., as if the sky was on fire). It moved swiftly towards the lake and Canada. Event lasted 20 seconds until object was too far away to see any longer. It was obvioulsy moving in a manner which indicated a purpose.
