The scariest unknown thing in the night sky

I was on my way home from taken along walk from 72 street Broadway once I went a little across town to Columbus avenue i'd looked in the night sky to see if i can count how many stars that i can see and watch some planes. within a few minutes-with a clear view i'd seen something like a moon like ship hovering over central park at a very fast pace It was so fast you would not notice moment. the way I reacted was maybe this is a huge flashlight spotting the roof of buildings across the city I estimated the size of this thing to be about few football fields wide. What scares me most is that people were walking on Columbus ave at this late night . But they did not pay any attention to to the sky. The object had no sound. now i'm a true believer.
