|Two of three lights in what appears to be a constellation drift off and disappear in Tacoma, WA
I was heading south on S. Cedar St., traveling past Tacoma Central, when I looked up towards the moon. The moon was close to full in the east, with what I assumed to be a planet below and slightly to the left of it. There were two more lights, less bright, that formed a slightly acute triangle with the planet (Jupiter, perhaps?). Initially, the formation looked like nothing more than a constellation; however, after less than a second, I noticed the two bottom lights begin to drift away from the planet, breaking the triangular formation. I lost sight of them when they were blocked from view by the old Costco, now a police station. When I cleared the police station they were gone.
The time was approximately 7pm.
I would love to know if anyone else saw this phenomenon.
