Angel-like appearence

When my mother, my brother and I were driving back home from a theme park, we all saw a star-like glow. Whenever we took a turn, it would move, but less than a star would, as if it were following our car.

The sky was mostly clear, but whenever a cloud passed over the star, it was still shining, as though past it was past the cloud instead of behind it.

It was there for about 30 seconds, and eventually it faded out.

It was white in color, and was about two millimeters from "it" to us.

It shimmered like a star, so there was light around it (about three millimeters around).
