This is something that has stayed on my mind for 30 years.

I was traveling on a Sun night from Houston, TX on my way back to Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, TX. It was around 9 or 10pm. If you'd like to verify my memory,Texas was in the middle of a severe drought that summer of 1980. I saw miles and miles of dead cornfields. Suddenly, something caught my attention at my 3 o'clock vision field.I saw what appeared to be "2" satellites on a dual trajectory. My 1st thought was "It's a high flying jet" .. but after a moment or two, I decided it was travelling way too fast.I did not see any other flashing strobe lights. I was amazed to see 2 satellites in tandem for the fist time. After watching this for a good minute, any doubts I had about it being an airplane evaporated. Suddenly,the 2 lights "stopped" in their trajectory "tracks". After 4 or 5 seconds, the lights 'went out'...they disappeared simultaneously. The next morning, I asked the cadre instructors "If a! nyone had heard about a UFO sighted over I 10 last night?" They said "No." All I can say folks is this: "I KNOW what I saw...but I still do not know what it was." Thanks for listening.
