bright light with no sound at incredible speed in my very near sky at night

Im a 35 year old white male who is married with two children, and very sain. It was a very clear night, not a cloud in the sky and hardly any wind if any. I was standing outside the back of my house looking at the stars as i often do. There was nothing in the night sky but stars (as often the case when you live by the sea).

As i looked up i seen a light to my left, it went from left to right across the sky, (which would of took a plane about 2 minutes to cross) in this case it flew at incredible speed and took 5-6 seconds and in a very straight line. This was a vast piece of sky and by the time i called my wife who was 10 meters away to confirm this sighting, it had gone.

It was a bright light with no flashing lights. It was a size of about 20 stars together and the light was pulsating. It never made a sound as it passed across the sky. This light was in our lower sky and not in space.
