Triangle of bright orange lights flying directly over St. George, Utah.

I was going out my back door to take the garbage out to the curb. As soon as I opened the door, I noticed three orange dots in the sky in a triangle formation. Initially, they did not flicker, but all three were moving together horizontally across the sky neither raising nor falling. They were at about a 40 degree angle off the horizon. They traveled steadily for a few seconds and I could tell immediately that they were nothing I'd ever seen before so I called my wife to come look. As she stood and watched, I ran to get my camcorder.

Just as soon as I got back, the three lights began to flicker and fade. I turned on the camera and began to record but by that point, two of the lights had gone out and the third was so dim, it could not be picked up by the camera. I set the camera down and went outside to put the garbage on the street, that's when I ran into my two neighbors. I asked if they had seen any orange lights in the sky and their expressions lit up and they told me that they had seen a triangle of orange lights rotating in a circular pattern just a few minutes earlier.

I personally did not see the rotation but clearly, I didn't get there until the end. Over the next few nights, I have gone outside looking for the lights at the same time of night but haven't seen them since.
