Brown Sphere travelling at fairly low altitude opposite to wind direction.

UFO report – 9/10/2011, Dale Hollow Lake KY At approximately 6:22AM on Saturday September 10th, 2011 I was sitting down just starting fishing on the bank. This location is one bay east of the KY State Park Marina on the east side bank before you enter the bay. The shore line faces south. There was little to no wind maybe 1 – 2 mph and what wind there was moving in West to East direction. There was some heavy cloud cover at an estimated 10,000 ft.

My rod tip were pointed in the air and I was watching it for a bite. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed and object moving at a fairly fast pace at about 11AM to me at approximately a 60 degree angle above me. It was shaped like a football – round in shape and brown in color. No lights or other distinguishing marks. It was moving in a South to North path. I observed the object for about 30 seconds from the 11 PM position to about the 2PM position where it disappeared beyond the tree line. I first though it was a bird just hovering with its wings tucked in but it was too round and the bird would need to have extended its wings to fly or hover. Most birds do not move in such a straight line and tend to circle. I thought maybe a balloon or something similar but it was moving in the wrong direction for the wind and was moving way too fast for the wind that was there. I know sometimes that wind shear is higher at higher elevations but the clouds were also not moving in ! the wind that is there. The object was below the cloud cover and close enough to see it was not a recognizable airplane or similar. There was no noise from it. Boat traffic can be heavy and noisy on the lake but there was no boat traffic at this time on the lake and all was quiet.
