On 9/23/11 I went outside for a smoke around 3:30 a.m. before bed, while sitting there I noticed a bright blue light in the middle of the sky staying still. It was way too low to be an air plane or a helicopter upon further examination I noticed this thing started flashing multiple colors. I also noticed another light aligned horizontally with the original light I saw at an angle. The other light was too far away to distinguish any distinct colors.

I called a friend to make sure I wasn’t picturing things and he confirmed the same thing I was witnessing.

Three days later on 9/26/11 another friend and I witnessed the same lights only this time there were six lights all aligned forming a diamond shape, then later a triangular formation. This has been going on for the past 4 days with no news reports. Multiple people have been witnessing the same lights I have. Can you guys please give an explanation?
