|About 15 fireballs in the sky, likely chinese lanterns.
My girlfriend and I were traveling east on Rollins road in Fox Lake and saw about 15 lights on the horizon. As we got closer, we noticed them slowly moving to the south or southwest. As we passed the Fox Lake Metra station, I noticed someone had pulled over to watch. There is a bar just past that on the left and that is where I believe Chinese lanterns were launched from because that is about where we passed under several of them. They were probably around 50 to 75 feet in the air and looked like lanterns in the sky. As we approached Wilson road, I noticed another car pulled over with 3 or 4 people watching. It was pretty cool until we were underneath them and I was convinced they were nothing.
