On October 30, 2011 at 5:22 a.m., I witnessed an orange ball moving due west in a straight line over Pasco, WA. It was approximately 3000 feet in the air. It was traveling at a high rate of speed, much faster than an airplane, with no sound. It appeared to accelerate and disappear leaving an orange trail retracting (yes, retracting) in the sky just as fast as it had accelerated. There was no sound or visible shape.
