3 strange lights with no object in sight but traveled from the north to the east disappearing!

I was walking home from 7-11 in north park tonight and when I was on Arizona and University it was 8:29pm, I looked up in the sky & I saw 3 strange lights, yards apart. It was not any airplanes or helicopter There was no noise. The lights I saw were only a few yards apart about 50 yards approximately, they went only in one direction to the east but came from the north and then I hurried up the hill I was walking on because there were some trees in my way in view of the lights so when I got to the top of the hill I saw the last light drift off into the east but also disapperead and tonight is thanksgiving.The weather was clear no clouds, no rain nothing.

I will admit I have never seen this before. The lights just disappearing into thin air.. I cant explain anymore.
