3 red globes entered sky from northwest,hovered appprox 15 seconds, rapidly disappeared into south sky

3 red globes with thin white iris entered the sky at 11:45 p.m. 12/31/2011 from northwest in single formation; then formed into a triangle formation,hovered for approximately 15 seconds due South; then the bottom right unit of triangle formation appeared to soar out in to the south sky and disappear,followed by the other two in the same direction.

Two red globes appeared approx 12:15 a.m 1/01/2012 in the Northern sky, lingered approx 10 seconds then 1 dissappeared to the North sky and one to the Southwest sky
