Triangular object with one light on top and three on the bottom, flashing clockwise, Hovered for about 3 minutes.

My friends and I were putting their jet ski into the lake Friday night and when we started unloading it we all noticed what looked like a flickering light. With a closer look I noticed it was actually four lights going clockwise in a triangle with one on top and three on the bottom. It hovered for about 3 minutes and then slowly got farther away into space then shot off extremely fast out of sight.
