|UNEXPLAINED FLASHING LIGHT
For the past hour, I have been watching a bright orange light randomly flashing on the top of Caradon Hill.
I live some 20 or so miles from Caradon in the village of Ernesettle, Devon but can see the transmitter very clearly as I live on a hill.
My first thought was ' oh a fire', but I'm not sure what it is. The light is orange in color and is brighter than other lights around, and flashes white occasionally. Another thought was perhaps a sattelite behind the hill, but since I have been watching the stars changing position in the night sky, this ' light on Caradon' isnt moving.
Any ideas as to what it might be. According to Freeview website there is no maintenance on the transmitter. Have never seen the light before tonight.
