The object started as a bright white glowing disc that sat stationary above the village for some minutes. It had a luminescent quality similar to an oval fluorescent bulb, the center of which would change intensity and color. The object appeared to be fairly close to us and I would guess the diameter to be about fifty to one hundred feet. The object never made a sound.

Along the road other cars were pulled over and the occupants were staring at it along with us. I asked a person that was staring at it near us what they thought it was? He didn't answer me, he had a strange look on his face almost like he couldn't believe what he was witnessing.He never did answer me.

The color of the object went from white to yellow to a reddish yellow over a few minutes or so. The disc finally started slowly drifting to the northwest, turned bright red and soon was gone.
