|Lights in the sky wink out in the vicinity of Turkey Point
My wife and I just got on the Turnpike at 40th St and as we looked down the highway, we saw 3 lights in the direction of SSE close together in a straight line. I got interested because In my 30+ years in aviation, I have not seen landing lights so big and strong on an airplane. I kept looking at the lights and I said, "its a bird, is it a plane." Mi wife said:"I know what you are looking at. You better look where you drive and I will look at the lights." I said:"yes, and when you say wow, it will be too late!" Just as I said that, the middle light dimmed, left and right lights alternately blinked on and off and it disappeared.
On further reflection, I realized it was very near or above the Turkey Point nuclear reactor, which fits the profile of many other sightings.
