strange lights over southern wisconsin

about 10 mi. n of stoughton WI 3 separate balls of orange light could be seen in the sky they looked like meteorites but were travelling north towards madison at a low rate of speed in a straight line and evenly spaced one after the other after approx. 2 minutes the front object began to flicker and then disappeared, after about a minute later the other did the same and the third one also disappeared 1 minute after the second one did in total we observed these objects for 5 minutes
