very weird things going on tonight

Crazy things are happening in the sky tonight I saw what I thought was a shooting star but it stopped ,then slowly started moving south .it was traveling east in a flash like a shooting star but just stopped. And headed another direction the thing had no flashing lights .looked like a star but was moving then a few min later another one did the same thing but head north this time .
