Characteristics: Lights on object

V shaped formation moving east to west, dim lights unlike aircraft.

V shaped dim lights moving east to west in night sky, below big dipper. Faded out as moved into east. Lights were dim white and did not resemble aircraft, looked like geese flying in formation but in complete darkness. I have never seen anything like this and I am not a believer in ufos.
