Never seen anything like this

One cylidrical object. At the center of the object was a mid-section, measured about 1/10 of the total length. The mid-section (perpendicular to the length) as the diameter of the mid-section was smaller by about 5%. The color was pristine, more pristine than polished stainless steel. The color was as close to looking like sterling silver crossed with mercury and appealing to the eye as I did not have to squint as I watched. It was a clear evening, blue sky with the moon in the background and the sun behind me. The level of the object was slightly parallel to the horizon with the forward slightly elevated. No sound, no wings, no propulsion system, no rudder, no lights and no exhaust fumes. There was no reflection from the sun rays. Altitude was probably a consistant 200 feet above ground during flight. Distance from observer was probably less than one mile. Traveled at a constant speed about 60 knots with no vibration or erratic flight path. Observed a Sou! thwest flight path. Observer is ex-military, experienced in robotics, sub-sea robotics, employed manager in a corporate environment
