Light seen over Atlanta, GA, 12/09/12

I was standing in my back yard was looking 210 degrees. 4 hand width high off the horizon. I saw a light moving way. After a few seconds it appered to be moving not olny away but upwardly moving away. Then was gone all together.

Weather condition tonight in Atlanta is overcast skys. I had a clear look of the light and thoght it may be a star.
