three white lights in a triangler shape,moving at high speed across the nite sky

As i was out walking my dog in my local park,i was looking up at the stars as it was a clear night.A moving light caught my eye,as i focused in on it i noticed it was three white lights in a triangle shape moving at the same speed heading east. At first i thought they were the space station as they seemed to be in outer space and traveling at the speed i see satellites across the nite sky.I always found it strange but never did anything about it as my friends said i was crazy to think anything of it.It was only tonight watching National Geographic channel,UFO's the untold stories, that i saw the same thing i saw that night many years ago. I was amazed watching the very thing i had seen on tv, only what i had seen was so very far beyond what they had seen on tv. I would love to know what you think of my experience.
