Unknown object in the sky.

Saw 3 figures of unknown shape with a bright red/orange glow hovering in the sky. One disappeared after about a minute, then the second one hovered steadily while the third moved around erratically. After another minute the second one disappeared and 2 minutes later the third one did the same. The objects were not situated that high in the sky.
