As I was driving my friend and I noticed several dots(lights) in the sky that were shooting in all directions until they disappeared.

I was in the Car with a friend of mine at a light in the county of Queens in a neighborhood called Glen Oaks. I stopped at the red light facing north at the intersection of Littleneck Pkwy and 72ave. was with my friend when I looked in the sky and I saw about 10 mayb more dots in the sky..

At first they looked like Stars. But I'm in NYC and Rarley do we see bright stars that are as clear as they were that night.

As I took a closer look I notice it was some sort of light. It was more then one light it was about 10. They didnt seem to have any pattern shape to them as to show if it was an object like a plane or helicopter. It more looked like individual lights floating on their own.

As I took my phone out to take pictures the lights that looked like dots or stars started moving around in all directions as in scattering.

I finally took a few pictures with and without flash. Alot of them have disappeared by the time I took the picture. But I did get to capture! a few and you can notice the lights are not a shape to anything like an airplane or helicopter. A few moments after I took the picture the remainder dots that was in the sky ended up disappearing little by little. I was able to view them getting further away until it was small enough it just disappeared. When I finally drive up to the next stop light I looked at the car next to me and I noticed that they too were in shook or disablief on what they just saw. I happen to know the people in the other car as well.
