Saw black speck high in the clear sky which moved in a different direction, hovered, and then disappeared.

While I was lying outside on my farm on a sheet of plywood talking on the phone I noticed a black speck way up in the sky. The sky was very clear and I was just nonchalantly looking up while talking on the phone when I noticed the black thing flying in a straight line directly above me.

I started looking at it thinking it was a bald eagle flying very high but then it changed directions towards the west without turning and then started to hover and move just move a little bit.

As I was staring at it, it suddenly just disappeared, like it went straight up to space, it almost look like it left a quick flash or plum of smoke for a millisecond and then there was just the blue sky!

I told the person on the phone about it, while I was looking at it but they didn’t know what to think about it!
