noticed fireball in sky and under power clearly moved from one side of the sky to the other, looked like plane on fire

Fireball (looked like a jet engine on fire) flew from one side of the sky to the other and out of sight. Definitely moving like under power, not just drifting. Up in sky, not just over treetops.
