8th sighting of a "UGO."

((NUFORC Note: One of approximately 20 sighting reports from the same source, over the course of approximately seven weeks. PD))

SIGHTING #15 – July 27, 2013 – 8th SIGHTING OF A “UGO” My friend “Carol,” who lives on the northern end of Sanibel Island, FL, called me this morning to tell me that at 10:20 p.m. last night she was out on her top porch and saw the now quite mysterious white glow again – the Unidentified Glowing Object (one of these nights we hope to the actual object that is creating this light). She had been on her porch for about 5 minutes before the sighting. This is the sixth sighting of this glow that she’s had (see my previous “Sighting” reports). She said it was in the same location at the previous ones we and she have seen – not much more than a half mile away, to the WNW, just on the other side of the seaward tree line of clam Bayou, and very close to the water or beach. She also said that “whatever is making these lights HAS to be really big, or really bright….just no way any kind of a flashlight could make that kind of a glow.” I have to agree. Also, as I stated before, the last time Carol had seen the glow, I was looking from ! a different spot and no one was out there with a flash light.

The glow came on and went out as before, as if on a dimmer switch, and this time stayed on for a “good minute.” She said that it was as bright as she has ever seen it. After about 5 minutes, it came back on, but not as bright, and only stayed on for a “few long seconds.” She had the bravery this time to stay on her porch by herself for another 15 minutes or so, but saw nothing more.

Interesting is the timing of not just this event, but all of them – within a relatively short window, from 9:50 to 10:30 p.m. I still have the now strong feeling that SOMETHING BIG IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN ON OUR SLEEPY LITTLE ISLANDS! STAY TUNED!
