Red light hovering in the North moving back and forth three nights in a row

For the last three consecutive nights at approximately the same time I have seen a red-orange light in the northern sky over Butte, Montana.

Each time the light will shift from bright red to a dull orange fading in and out.

It also moves slowly back and forth and up and down in a small section of the sky.

Then it will slowly fade away.
