whit lighted aircraft looking object

I was sitting on my deck, and looking west. I saw a bright star then to the right of that I saw this white light moving fairly fast. It had like an orange looking light on it. I saw this same object a week earlier. This craft was heading south very fast. I watched this object for about seven minutes.
