Spotted a light in the sky south of I-435, just above the horizon. It appeared stationary for several minutes then began to appear to move east slowly. We tried to follow in a vehicle but we could not catch up to it.

We considered the possibility it could be a star or planet, but we thought it was moving too fast, but it was moving too slow to be an aircraft.

As we looked at it, it appeared to have a tail as it moved, and we could see quick flashes of light around it.
