3 diagonal bright lights, seemed very close. Moving slowly to the right, then down, then backtracked?!?!

Diagonal line 2 white lights on outer sides one blinking red in the middle. I know what a plane looks like this was no plane. I was driving home from work when this caught my eye. It was very bright and seemed very close and not moving, so I stopped my car to look at it. It was moving very slowly to to the west from my perspective then moved down then backtracked!! I was so shocked. A plane does not abruptly backtrack. It didn't make any sense. It disappeared behind a house and I could no longer see it and had to continue moving since I was stopped in the middle of the road of my neighborhood. Can't believe what I saw I hope someone else posts saying they saw this craft as well..
