Shape: Circle
Duration:~1 minute
Ultra bright bluish circle hovered then shot to the ground on north side of Lake Allatoona.

On 12/25/2013 at about 3:00am on Ga Hwy 20 in Bartow County at the intersection of Wilderness Camp Road I felt compelled to look up. I saw a bluish solid circle of light hovering over the tree line. It was hard to determine the size relative to the trees but as I was travelling 35 mph and it didn't appear to move...it seemed large and motionless. I immediately felt apprehensive to the point of dread. I told my passenger to look and as he looked up, the object shot down to the ground...which scared him and me too. We went to the Allatoona boat ramp to see if we could see what had fallen out of the sky...but it was cold and creepy and we didn't see any evidence of anything out of the ordinary.

Imagine my surprise when I found this website and spotted very similar sitings by others close by. I have always felt safe living in this area, but now I find myself much more cautious...and now I'm keeping the gun close by.

In relation to the moon, if the moon was a quarter the circle of light was a nickel.

The brightness of the object reminded me of those annoying blue halogen headlights and was definitely not a natural light source. It didn't look like any aircraft, balloon, Chinese lantern, or drone.

The moonlight made it possible to see that there was no other craft attached to the light. It just hung there like someone shining a superbright flashlight into the world from somewhere else.

The object dropped at a speed that seemed inconsistent with falling. It was so fast it was like someone ripped it down from the sky.
