|Solid bright orange light flying low and very quickly
Near The Strong Museum of Play, Monroe Ave area. Seen when we were walking from the car to the house.
We saw a light heading towards us in the sky from far south and west of Rochester. Bright orange light zipped across the sky nearly overhead, from SW of the city to NE.
Clear sky; bright moon, 10 to 15 visible stars.
No blinking. No visible trail behind. Looked to be lower than a commercial airplane would fly. No sound.
Faded away in the distance but did not drop below horizon line.
It crossed the entire sky in less than 2 minutes.
No flickering or blinking, just a solid bright orange glow whizzing by faster than any plane I have seen.
Brighter than a lighter in your hand on a dark night.
