huge silent triangle full of lights moving slow just above trees

huge triangle moving very slowly making no sound.dont acually remember month or year,probably definately spring or summer 76 or 77.my friend and i were in his back yard on ulster ave.when we noticed the ufo.traffic on ulster ave.nearly came to a stop.next day my mother told me she heard about it and many people saw it and it was said to be a weather station.i guess thats possible but im not convinced .this thing was huge with no sound and moving so slowly.does anyone else remember?
