An extremely bright, white light shot across the sky that moved at a much faster speed than any kind of airplane, then it vanished.

I saw a large white light shoot extremely fast across the sky. It seemed to be about 10,000 feet in the air, or maybe less.

The speed it was travelling at was way too fast for an airplane. It shot across the sky for only a few seconds, then it disappeared into the clouds. There was only one craft seen.
