Bright white light in the sky over the west side of Las Vegas

I was talking with a friend and there was nothing in the sky to the west. I know because I was looking in that direction anyways. I put my head down to rub my eye and when I looked up there was this white bright light in the sky. It turned several times very abruptly and then shot down as if to the surface and then the light just when out.

There was no sound from the object.

Very weird!!!!
