|We heard and felt what was like an earthquake throughout Southern New Jersey. However, according to the NJ12 News (link provided with full report), it was not an earthquake according to the USGS and it was not originated by joint military bases, McGuire-Fort Dix in Lyndhurst) according to their representatives.
The authorities are reporting that it was most likely sonic booms - but how can aircraft sonic boom travel - simultaneously - from as far as Lakewood down to Cape May?
