Very bright orange/red circle in sky, traveling to N/NW. Made an arc. Disappeared in sky. Seemed to be pulsating and lasted for 2.5.

From our backyard, in the sky a large, basketball-shaped and orange, red and slightly yellow huge ball came from the south towards the N/NW. It was smooth and was pulsating. Kept traveling to the N/NW in an arc.. I called into my husband who came out with binoculars. It seemed as if it diminished in size as it arced. It was so bright. Orange and red. Circular shaped and a straight arc. Bright, and numerous airplanes were in the air following to the N/NW. Big to smaller to nothing as we watched.
