Bright lights in NE Sky of Hendersonville

At approximately 4:30 am, on July 6, 2017, in the North East sky Mr. ((name deleted)) has seen a bright light. It is at approximately 15-20 degrees, he lives on a mountain. The light lasts for about one hour and appears to be hovering.

The weather has been cloudy and clear. He could not see the moon or venus. Beneath the cloud cover there is a bright light. Through binoculars it was actually 3 separate objects.

About one week ago he saw the same object. It had smaller lights in an oval pattern beneath it. During the second observation, he saw what appeared to be identical light about 10 miles SE. Before he could photograph it, the second light vanished.

He has been able to see the lights multiple nights over the last 10 days.
