|As I walked my dog, I looked up to the sky and noticed a very bright glow coming form behind the clouds. It resembled a full moon but I have never seen the light of the moon have rays of light shooting out from the clouds. The object was very large round resembling a full moon however the surface was a uniform color and it was emanating a glow. No craters of discolorations were visible.
I am located south of the Griffith Observatory about 10 miles form Santa Monica near downtown. I was facing SW when I saw they object. I observed it moving in an easterly direction then it stopped behind a cluster of clouds rays of light still breaking through openings in clouds. It started moving again, then disappeared.
