There was an extremely bright white light in the sky that zoomed away at a speed I have never seen before.

I was lying down looking at the stars with a friend when all the sudden a big bright light appeared with a streak behind it going a decent speed but not an insane speed, it was in the sky travelling for about 5 seconds when all the sudden it zoomed away at a speed I didn't think was possible,.

Both me and my friend saw it and were immedietely super confused about what it was. The object was about 8 times the size of a star in the sky, the object was very bright and partially illuminated the sky; there was also no sound from the object.
