September 20th, 2017. It was a quite and tense Wednesday afternoon.
Mexico City was still shocked by a terrible Earthquake that take took place just the day before. It was around 2 pm local time when I decided to go out and walk the dog along Avenida Santa Fe together with my wife and my 11 year old daughter.
We stopped for a snack and sit outside a coffee-shop. As I looked Northeast, I saw a Mexican flag with a mourning- black ribbon at the top of a rude tower-crane, so I decided to register that symbolic moment with my smartphone.
A week after, I was looking at the pictures I took that day, when I noticed a black spot on the left upper side of one of them. The “live” mode was turned on for those pictures which gave them 3 seconds motion, and with this motion the “spot” moves East in a constant direction with incredible speed. Looking even more carefully I could see this same spot in other “live” pictures too, it appears and disappears very quickly.
