March 1987 Clark Air Base UFO Incident

I would like to report a UFO incident that happened on March 1987 in Clark Air Base, Philippines. It was around 20:00hrs and we are at the fifth floor of the Engineering building of the Holy Angel University in Angeles City. We are about to take our final exams in one of our engineering subjects when our Instructor/Professor called my name and another student (Lawrence) and told us that we are exempted from taking the final exams and instructed us to go outside the room.

We went outside the room and stayed on the balcony to wait for our classmates to finish the exam. Suddenly while on the balcony, a big ball of light (sphere) started to descend from the night sky. To describe the sphere, it looks like a giant disco ball but instead of the glass reflectors, you will see port holes with bright light coming out of the holes. There are also four orbs located slightly lower than the sphere and are descending together with it. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. One thing I noticed is I did not feel scared at all. I felt more amazed and excited so I kept watching it descend. The sphere is about the size of a football field and the orbs about the size of a compact car. The orbs all have different colors, red, green, blue, and yellow and sometimes they all turn into bright white.

The sphere suddenly stopped descending and it remained stationary (not moving at all) just above the control tower of the air base. The orbs started to fly around at incredible speeds. It was a very good thing to see. I can even see the colored trails that they leave. Right around this time, there was a power blackout and the sirens on the base started to go (real loud). The base scrambled fighter jets and I started to count them. The jets were taking off by twos and I was counting them by their afterburners. I even asked Lawrence to also count them.

While I was counting the jets, something really strange happened. I was suddenly at a very different vantage point. From where I was, I can see the whole city. Even though there was a blackout, I can see the whole city like it was mid noon. I did not think much about my change of vantage point at that time and continued to count the fighter jets. I counted a total of fourteen jets that took off. As I was watching the jets fly to! wards my vantage point, I was suddenly back on the balcony of the engineering building and the power was restored. I saw Lawrence standing on the other end of the balcony and he was very pale like he’s seen a ghost. I asked him how many jets he counted and his reply was, “You are a devil. You disappeared and reappeared right in front of me. What now?!”. He looked very scared and said he will never talk to me again.

When our other classmates came out of the classroom, I started to ask them about the strange lights. Some of them saw light coming in to the classroom windows but did not see the sphere. They all heard the sirens from the base and even joked it was World War III. Lawrence then stopped them from talking to me and told them I am a devil. To this day, Lawrence has not spoken to me.

Since this was really an unusual experience for me, the next day I was excited to check the news reports and all I found is a TV report about a giant Ferris Wheel in the sky that a lot of witnesses saw. The blackout they said was caused dead jellyfish and that’s about it. There was no mention of the air base scramble. I tried to research the incident and found nothing more to this day. I would like to know more about this incident if there is more information.
