Could not see what was infrount of the trail of what look like a dust trail of somthing.

It at night about 1am took the dogs out I was looking up at the stars and I seen something fly by. all I seen was a trail behind what ever it was. It looked like dust I don't know what it was about 500-600 feet I'am not sure.
