Characteristics: Lights on object, Aura or haze around object, Left a trail

Very slow bright white light atleast 5x brighter than any star in the sky, appeared & disappeared on cloudless night

In seconds, a large, about 5x larger than any stars in the sky at the time, appeared out of nowhere in the eastern part of the sky at 9pm. It lit up white with a middle area of darker white, moved very slow for mere seconds with a trailing like very short tail no longer than itself behind it & then just as quickly as appeared was gone. No flashing, no noise, nothing more than the small trail which it had behind it which was very short itself. I’ve seen more shooting stars than I could count, sat out all hours watching meteor showers, find planets when possible, I go outside Every night and check out the sky. This was nothing like any of those. It appeared and disappeared on a completely cloudless night all in total of 5 seconds or less. Reminded me of movies where something penetrates a different dimension & immediately goes back or into another. If I had to compare it to anything, I have seen, that would be the closest. If say 6 oclock is straight down & 12 is straight up above and horizon is 9 o’clock I’d say this was about 10-11 o’clock in the sky accordingly.

NUFORC Note:

First object may have been an Iridium satellite?? PD
