|The event occurred on the final night of sleep-away camp, August 22, 1975 at Raquette Lake Boys Camp, Raquette Lake New York.
All staff and campers (boys and girls camp, about 200 people) attended the final bonfire/goodbye ceremony, held in the middle of the soccer field.
The night was perfectly clear, with no cloud cover. During the owner’s speech, 3 bright green round disks approached from different directions, came together, formed an equilateral triangle, and began to hover approximately 10,000 feet above us. There was no sound. Within a minute or so, the craft began to spin, maintaining their formation. They remained above us for possibly 5 minutes, before shooting off in the originating directions. Again, there was no sound.
