While flying from Miami to Chicago above the clouds I saw two ground cloud looking objects that moved and morphed into a straight line.

11/5/19 flying from Miami to Chicago above the clouds. Looking north west I noticed two small round clouds that begin to move and morphed into two different short lines. One line disappeared. The remaining line started to extend into a geometric shape. I regret not taking pictures sooner but I thought the two were clouds. Hard for me to say what state it was over.
