Young man and fiancee decided to drive out of the city to look at Hyukatake Comet. While driving, they witnessed a "cross with circles on the bottom" pass silently overhead. Had red and white lights on the bottom, as well as six of what appeared to be "big windows" on the bottom surface of the object.

The object preceded to fly over nearby buildings and trees, and the driver "floored it" (his truck) in attempt to catch up with the object.

The caller volunteered that he did not believe in UFO's until his sighting on the prior night, although in retrospect, he may have had an incident, involving "black out," when he was a youth.
