Mother and son report having seen a very bright light over the Kirkland Heights.

MOTHER: She was taking out the garbage, when she saw a strange light behind trees to the south, then to the east. she called her mother to look at the object, when it moved "all over the sky." It moved behind a second tree very slowly, when all the lights were blinking. Then all the lights stopped blinking, and the object streak across the sky, slowed and stopped, then continued moving slowoly. Then the object "just took off."

The object was moving in a direction exactly opposite to the general flow of commercial airliners in the sky

SON: At first, the object looked like an airplane, then the two white lights on it "came closer." Then, he witnessed two "bluish, blackish" lights, and then a red light appeared. At that point, all the lights started blinking.

The object's shape was generally square, and it was as large as a full moon.
